Hello all,
This is my first post to the forum.
I've recently acquired a Cub Cadet 2130 in good condition. Engine runs well, the only issue is that after running for awhile, the engine doesn't seem to be getting much power to the wheels, and the tractor will slow down or sometimes stop while turning or going up inclines.
In reading up on this model, I'm thinking that it might be a problem with the clutch slipping. The solution for many has been adding shims via a small inspection port on the top of the clutch.
My tractor doesn't seem to have this port, but does have a linkage that seems to be adjustable.
Anyone have a similar set-up and issue?
Any idea if, and which way, the linkage might need to be adjusted to solve my problem?
See pictures I've uploaded.

I couldn't capture your photos but maybe I didn't do it right. I don't know that model so am talking generally, and assume the engine maintained speed while the tractor slowed.
Clutch adjustment is defined as freeplay, or how far down the pedal moves before you get resistance. You alter it by adjusting the nuts on the pedal linkage. The amount should be stipulated in the manual but is usally just short of an inch. If it still slips when in adjustment you're in for replacement clutch parts. ....
